As the novel Tweaked begins it talks about Chase and Gordie growing up and how they would build tea-peas and stuff like that in the woods. It then goes into Gordie talking about how messed up Chase got and how he put Richard Cross in the hospital when he was all craked out on meth and how he hit him in the head with a bottle. It also talks about how the family got all torn apart and everything changed. The family went into debt to get Cahse out of jail because of a 50,000 $ bail.
The first problem in the story is Chase getting arested for aggravated assauult.
The author keep you reading as he will tell you a problem and you keep reading it as you want to see what the end result of the problem is.
What do you think they should do with Chase?

ReplyDeleteI think they should let him sort out his own problems and not let him bring down the whole family like that.
ReplyDeletePedro- drug addiction is a serious problem that has a ripple effect on many other people--especially family members. I'm sure Gordie and his parents struggle to see Chase fall apart and them must feel helpless because they don't know how to help him. Some say you need to let the drug addict hit rock bottom before they realize they need help. Others say you try to help them any way you can. I think it will be difficult for Gordie to let Chase go. Sounds like a good book!

He need to get his issues sorted out and definitly shouldn't wait til he hits rock bottom (no offence Ms. Reesor) i just think that he will be more ashamed of himself in the end. and really.. Who would want that? I hope that Chase figures it out before thing get worse.
