Final Post

The book Tweaked written by Katherine Holubitsky has many twists and conflicts in the book. Most of these conflicts deal with Chase a hardcore drug addicted , who got severely addicted to meth. The conflict in the book is that Chase got kicked out of his house when his parents couldn’t put up with his drug addiction and all the valuables that he stole from them. When Chase was on the streets he was in an alley and a man named Richard Cross walked by and it must have scared Chase who was on meth binge. Chase then cracked Richard Cross in the head with a bottle, and when the police came Chase was still passed out with the bottle in his hand and Richard Cross was rushed to the hospital . Chase was arrested for aggravate assault and was put behind bars. His parents then bailed him out on a 50,000 $ bail. Gordie , Chase's brother was threatened by Chase's dealers twice because chase owed them 2000$. Gordie had gotten pulled over because of the dealers who chased them on the hi -way. Gordie said he would help Chase by paying back the dealers. When they went to do this Chase only paid the dealers 500$, and he ran away. Chase broke into the house and pawned Gordie’s Brand new guitar when he was at school. The cops came to the house and told his parents that the charges where now murder charges. The cops found out that Chase’s mom had still bin in contact so they set him up and he tried to run away but he got tackled and died shortly after. I think that this story line is very possible as you never know what a meth addict will do next.
